Where did the time go...I totally forgot about Sneak Peek Thursday...it's almost after 9:00 here and I can't believe I'm just now posting this...oh well...real quick...here's a little peek at what I have hitting the ScrapMatters store tomorrow... Randomness

What??? A blog post on a Wednesday...I know I can hardly believe it myself!! I was sitting here loading some photos that I had recently taking of my son onto my computer and I thought to myself how it's been so long since I've posted some of my own photos. I absolutely LOVE designing...but somehow my blog has turned into me just making my weekly "New Products" post. So with that said...I'm going to make a point to make more random blog posts...I want to get back to sharing some of my photos with you, posting my own layouts, sharing hybrid projects that I've created...and some tips and tricks that I've learned along the way...in addition to what new products that I have hitting my store. So today I wanna share with you some photos that I took of my son the other day while he was riding his 4-wheeler in the backyard... This is one of his favorite things to do when he gets home from school! We have such a huge backyard...so it actually works out really well for him...he rides for a bit...stops...then goes and explores the dirt and bugs...then hops right back on and drives to another destination in our backyard. Ahhhh....to be a kid again! Well thanks for letting me share this with you today!! Have a great Wednesday everyone!

All Aboard the SM iNSD Blog Train!!

Chugga Chugga Choo Choo!!! Hello there!! And welcome to your next stop on the ScrapMatters [inter]National Scrapbooking Day blog train. You have probably just come from Kim's Blog. Ok...so you wanna hear my "Moment that Matters"?....Well here we go...it's kinda personal...but still a moment that I would love to share with you... My Moment that Matters is the day that I found out about my adoption story...yes...that's right I'm adopted!!! At the age of 4 weeks I was adopted by a wonderful family who LOVED children. They loved children SOOOO much that they adopted a total of six and then had one of their own. I grew up knowing that I was adopted but that was all that I knew. It wasn't until I had a child of my own that I started wondering more and more about my story. I couldn't help wanting to know what my birth parents looked like....if I had any other siblings....medical history...etc. All of a sudden I found myself wanting to know it all!!! After a little research I located the agency that handled my adoption and then set up an appointment to meet with a caseworker to discuss it. The morning of the appointment...I was so excited!!! My husband drove me to the agency and when we arrived I was greeted by a very friendly lady...my caseworker. We went to her office and sat down...and she handed me a document that was several pages long! It was titled ....My Adoption Story!!! I couldn't believe that I was about to read everything that I wanted to know...well mostly everything!!! I sat there for a minute taking a deep breath...thinking to myself...am I ready for this? After answering myself....I started reading. My husband and my caseworker sat there while I read. When it came to the part that described my birth mother...tears started running down my cheeks. The words that were used to describe her...are the SAME words that people have used to describe me!!! I couldn't beleive it...she was just like me!! This moment mattered so much to me because now all of a sudden I feel as though my birth parents are actually real people now...and even though I may never get the chance to meet them...I feel so much better knowing what they were like and the circumstances behind my adoption.
